Built in 1420 (the 18th year of the Ming-dynasty Yongle Emperor’s reign) with a blue-tiled hip roof, the hall is where the tablet of the God of Heaven—worshiped during the ceremonies of praying for good harvests—and the imperial ancestors were enshrined.
